The Carriage House is our newest addition and is located .6 miles from Hwy(Spur)66 and borders Rocky Mountain National Park. Please note: This is on the same property that we live on. It is not the property in the Big Thompson Canyon where the River Cabin, Mountain Cabin and Romantic Cottage are. It's whimsical western theme is sure to delight both the true cowboy and those who are cowboys at heart.Peaceful and Quiet........ it is set amongst large pine trees. You can enjoy the deer, elk, chipmunks and many other forest animals during your stay. After a long hike in the park or a day of shopping in the Village of Estes Park you can soak in the oval soaking tub (complete with bubble bath and candles) or take a nice hot shower or just relax in the Outdoor Hot Tub (with Aroma therapy Scent Packets).........and no sharing here.......this is your private tub.
The Queen Size
Aspen Canopy Log Bed is adorned with many pillows and a comfy
quilt. For Romantic ambiance there is a fireplace, Stereo/CD Player
with easy listening CD's for your use, a lantern (wired with electricity),
and a cute cowboy boot night light. The large Bedroom and Living-room
windows give you a great view to the outside complete with beautiful
Pine Trees. The Living-room has a Fireplace, couch and overstuffed chair
with ottoman along with a TV with a large Direct TV Package and DVR along with /DVD/VCR.....we
have a collection of Videos and DVD's for your use during your
stay. We have even provided a sound machine and keep fans in the unit 365 days a year for those who cant sleep without their "Fan Noise" to lull them to sleep.
The
full kitchen comes with many staples that includes grilling and
seasoning spices. There is an outdoor Propane BBQ Grill for your
use. There is an eat-in bar with leather seat bar stools...........or
you can enjoy the picnic table and chairs outside. PLEASE NOTE........We are on City Water and Sewer but do not have a Dishwasher. Maybe you can pretend you are in the Old West Days.
